The Varo Chair is built around exposed structure - sharp timber geometry, tensioned rattan weave, and a clean architectural stance that makes the piece feel lighter than it is. Nothing is hidden. The frame, the seat, the back, the arms - all of it works visibly.

The solid timber frame gives the chair its strength and profile. Angled legs create a grounded A-frame silhouette, while the squared arms cut through the softer woven panels with control. It feels modern, but not sterile. Natural, but not rustic.

The seat and back are finished in a hand-tensioned rattan weave, chosen for breathability, texture, and long-term visual warmth. The weave gives the chair that relaxed resort-level ease, while the solid timber structure keeps it sharp enough for proper interiors.

Internally, every connection point is reinforced to reduce movement over time. The frame is shaped from kiln-dried solid wood, selected for grain consistency, strength, and resistance to warping. The timber is sanded, stained, and sealed to protect the surface while still letting the grain show through.

RETURNS

Dorsa accepts returns for products in adequate condition within 180 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return:

  • Item must not be overly damaged beyond normal wear and tear
  • Original packaging must be retained
  • We must be notified promptly within 3 days of delivery

Return shipping is organised through Dorsa to ensure the item is handled safely. You do not need to pay.

Once the product arrives back at the warehouse and passes inspection, a refund or store credit is issued.

Because many Dorsa pieces are large freight furniture, returns are assessed individually to ensure safe transport and minimal risk of damage.
