The Tenon Sofa takes a clean, linear body and gives it an unexpected edge through its arm detail - cylindrical bolsters held in place by exposed vertical timber supports. That single move changes the whole piece.

It’s quiet, but intelligent.

From the front, the silhouette feels calm and architectural. Long horizontal seat. Tight back. Minimal interruption. Then the arms hit - rounded forms pierced and anchored by solid timber uprights, almost like joinery expressed on the outside of the piece.

That’s why it works.
It feels designed, not decorated.

Wrapped in a premium textured bouclé weave, the upholstery has a dry, refined handfeel with enough grain to catch light softly across the surface. It reads elevated, but still commercial enough to be practical. The tone keeps it versatile. The detailing keeps it from disappearing.

Internally, the frame is built from kiln-dried hardwood, reinforced with concealed steel bracing to maintain the long straight span and keep the arm structures locked in place over years of use. The exposed timber supports are not just visual - they act as a stabilising structural element integrated directly into the arm assembly.

Seat cushioning uses a multi-density foam core with a firmer lower layer for support and a softer upper composition for comfort. The sit is controlled, upright, and versatile - comfortable for long residential use, but clean enough for lobby, suite, or developer application.

The back is kept tight and tailored, allowing the sofa to hold its profile from every angle. From behind, it stays monolithic. From the side, the arm detail gives it identity.

Each piece is handcrafted locally, with precision upholstery, reinforced internal joinery, and hand-finished timber elements that make the proportions feel exact and considered.
