The Softlock Lounge is built around compression - soft volumes pulled tight, gathered, and secured into form. It feels loose at first glance, but every fold, every pull, every curve is controlled.
It’s plush without being lazy.
Wrapped in full-grain leather, the surface is intentionally relaxed, allowing natural creasing and subtle dimpling to form across the body. The finish is soft, matte, and tactile - designed to age, not wear out. Over time, it develops character without losing integrity.
The defining detail sits underneath and through the body - exposed tension straps and hardware that physically pull the structure together. It’s not decorative. It’s functional. The form exists because it’s held.
Internally, a reinforced hardwood frame provides the base structure, supported by concealed steel anchoring where the tension system is integrated. The cushioning system uses deep, multi-layer foam with a softer upper composition, allowing for a heavier, sink-in feel while still maintaining long-term resilience.
This is a different type of comfort.
Less upright. More absorbed.

The base is slightly lifted on concealed feet, giving the form just enough separation from the ground while keeping its grounded presence.

Each piece is handcrafted locally, with hand-pulled upholstery, reinforced strap integration, and precision tensioning to ensure consistency across every unit.
